We now have published news on the Bangalore communal riots. MSN.com has published this about the riots. The incidental took place in J C Nagar this morning (Friday) at a mosque.
Section 144 has been imposed in JC Nagar locality July 13.

I understand that the situation is now calm and under control.

Sec 144 means that whosover, being armed with any deadly weapon, or with anything which, used as a weapon of offence, is likely to cause death, is a member of an unlawful assembly, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

We have heard reports about communal riots in Shivajinagar, TV tower, JC Nagar, JC Road and Hebbal. The police are out in force to maintain law and order.
