If you have watched Dasavathaaram Hindi or Dasavathaaram Telugu too go ahead and post the story or your review.
The title is named (in Tamil style) after the sanskrit phrase Dashavataram, the set of 10 avatars that Lord Vishnu assumed to establish the victory of good over evil. In the movie, Kamal Hasan is said to have assumed 10 different roles including that of an aged woman and George Bush.
The heavy budget movie may well be the Sivaji of 2008.

I'm a hard core Kamal fan & obviously went for the premier show of this movie @ Detroit.
Overall the movie is well above average but didn't meet the expectation to perfection.
The strong points are definitely the portrait of the much talked about 10 different characters & the technical contents of the film.
However the makeup somewhat appears to be artifical at the first glance, I'm not sure if this appears just to me.
Modern s/w graphics has been fully utilized in this movie, but if you're an IT person with awareness of about such graphics this appears to be artifical too at number of scenes.
The very week line of this movie is the dialogues, though Kamal has taken care of this part all of them appears to be the same old Crazy Mohan's stuff.
Secondly the screen play could've been made much better.
To complete the long story in short, if you walk in to the theater with high expectation you might get upset!!
Just now I am coming back from the movies Dasavathaaram. I am also a hard core fan of Kamal... but... the movie is simply OK... Don't go with expectation. The only good part is NAIDU... and BUSH
No matter which side of the Kamal fan spectrum you are - this movie sucks! And big time at that. The awful makeups and the screenplay that goes nowhere just put me off completely. 2 years, for this...Phew..
